We implement Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) in free space, enabling wireless secure links in metropolitan areas. Using the BB84 protocol with polarization states, our solution offers high resilience against atmospheric losses. Successfully tested in Madrid.
Our QKD devices operate over standard single-mode optical fiber (1550nm) using continuous variable protocols. Field-tested for up to 50 km, this solution is currently in its pilot phase and expected to be market-ready by the end of 2024.
